17. It was a fun casual film. Up until the end. My only two gripes were two that E;R mentioned 1) the explosion went up and everyone got out okay (does hydrogen gas just naturally go up?), and 2) Helen burned the Mona Lisa. Pretty sure she would get charged for arson (the house and the painting), and endangering lives.

    Otherwise, I liked it overall but since it finished poorly it kinda marred my outlook of it. Knives Out was definitely better.

19. Honestly I am a little disappointed there is little analysis of the ending. Yes, it is dumb, but it also has a political message – the film presents destruction of Mona Lisa as justified because otherwise le evil white man "would have gotten away with it too". Therefore if even Mona Lisa can be destroyed in order to fight oppression then burning and looting cities is justified as well.
    While "Knives Out" also had little bits of leftism (Martha was an illegal Latina) it wasn't a major theme and at least that was a fun and mostly coherent movie, "Glass Onion" is just a mess, even before looking closer at any political message it sends.

30. The thing I hate the most is that they show Miles being smart before the twist. Ryan wants the audience to believe that Miles is stupid while showing us that he's smart enough to make a murder look like a suicide, co-found a billion dollar company and develop a highly efficient hydrogen based fuel. And then to flush that all down the drain by having him not destroy the one piece of evidence that could convict him. It's not even something that you have to be a genius to know to do that would just be common sense. Also there is no way that miles would not know of andi's twin it would have come up in conversation, something. And there would be no way the twins who were estranged would sound the same.
